I remember when I was Jackson's age, I had a red T-shirt with a bird next to a sign that said, "Kid for Sale - Cheap!" I never really knew what it meant until I got a little older. I remember defending my little brother when he wore it once (my family was big on hand-me-downs) and some "loving" adult said she'd take him. I thought, "You can't have him, lady, he's my brother!" Now as a parent of a toddler, I'm understanding that shirt completely. Now don't get me wrong, I love my Jackson more than anything, and I really wouldn't want to give him up forever; but sometimes, on those days, like today, where every little problem comes with tears, and he is deliberately disobeying me, I want to at least rent him out. If I had a shirt like my old one, then I could let out my feelings without giving up my kid. Jackson wouldn't even know what was on his shirt, except for the cute little bird. Talk about false advertising. Oh, well.
I'd love to get my hands on a shirt like that!!! And then you see those sweet innocent faces...what a trick!
