Last month while Jackson and I were visiting my parents, he found an old toy of Spike from the Land Before Time. He was scared of it, and so we bought him the movie so he could watch it and overcome his fears. I don't mind the first one because it's the one I knew, and I knew he could learn some good lessons. I thought we were off to a good start when he told me last week, "Mom, Cera is a mean dinosaur." Great! He was learning that her behavior was wrong. Guess again, Mommy!!! His new favorite phrases are straight from Cera's mouth: "Go away!" and "By myself!" I think I prefer him pretending to be the villian, Sharptooth, stomping around and growling much more thanI like him taking on Cera's attitude.
Ohhh! I thought it was so cute when you told me about him pickin up on the "mean dinosaur" thang, but I know this has got to be a toughie. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThat was my favorite when I was young! I even still have my stuffed animal Little Foot. I didn't like Care though, too bad he's picked up on her rude attitude.
