Happy Holidays - New Year's Eve

I really loved the holidays this year. I was worried at first because I felt homesick a couple of days before Christmas. Perhaps it's just missing being a kid and being at home. We ended up having a fantastic time.

The Monday after Christmas, Matt's high school buddy, Dave, and his family spent the afternoon and evening with us again. (They were the friends helping us fill the roles for the Nativity we performed on Christmas Eve.) We all decided to go sledding. We had a blast! Unfortunately, I don't have very many good pictures. My camera couldn't handle the cold very well. So, here's one of Jackson's going down on the tube.
Matt picked up his brother, Alan, from the airport, and he spent the day with us. Jackson craves the attention from his aunts and uncles, and Alan is no exception. Jackson especially loved that Alan and Matt threw snowballs at him using Alan's new snowball maker.

  1. Jackson LIKES being hit with snowballs?!?!? Great, I'm sure he will have lots of fun with his uncles every winter.
Keri and Hannah tried out the snowball maker here in Virginia before Christmas. Looks like it was a great "hit" in your driveway!

  2. That looks like tons of fun! I didn't know they made snowball makers :)

I finally remembered to have Jimmy help me put your adoption button on our site, and it matches really well with our blog theme!
