A few years ago, I started a Sunday Box. The idea is to have a box of toys only for Sundays so that a child will be excited to play with these toys because he doesn't get to play with them any other day of the week, and it will help with the "Keeping the Sabbath Day Holy" idea. Of course, I didn't have religious toys, just quiet ones reserved for Sunday. I had put in things like the Story Reader,
a Thomas the Train Aquadoodle,
some Magnetix,
a box of Legos,
and some puzzles, paint with water books, and a few other books.
The thing is, this never worked for us. I mean, sure, he'd play with some toys once in a while, but even at six years old, he much prefers the box.

Well, that's a mighty big box! I love seeing him peep out in that second picture!
