Marriage
Yesterday, I was informed of the following conversation with the lunch lady, Jenny.
Jackson: Jenny, I love you.
Jenny: Jackson, I love you, too.
Jackson: Will you marry me?
Jenny: Oh, Jackson, Jenny is already married, and she is too big for you.
Jackson: Um, okay. Will you open my Capri Sun?
Babies
Today he had an epiphany about babies. After school, he saw his former aide, who recently had a baby. He stopped by with his teacher to see her. Jackson's teacher, Mrs. D., said, "Jackson, should we go see Mrs. T's baby?"
Jackson then pointed at Mrs. T.'s belly, to which Mrs. T. responded, "She's over there," pointing to the baby in the car seat. "Would you like to see her?"
As she pulled back the blanket, Jackson looked at the baby and then pointed back to Mrs. T.'s stomach. He got a thoughtful look on his face, looked up at Mrs. T., and said, "Did you open your mouth?"
Mrs. T.'s response: "Something like that, Jackson."
Oh My. How fun!
ReplyDeleteHahahahah! Oh children- I love them.
ReplyDeleteOh! Man! What I would give to have known Capri Sun was a valid option to a marriage proposal! Yummmmmmmhhhmmmm. Jackson, I learn so much from you!
ReplyDeleteTwo fabulously funny, sweet stories. I'm so glad you shared them!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. I love Jackson! He says the funniest things!
ReplyDeleteThe mouth thing must run in the family! Last year Kimmy's preschool teacher was pregnant and Kimmy made her open her mouth so she could see the baby.
ReplyDeleteHA HA HA!!!! If you can't marry someone, they can at least open your capri sun. It's really the next best thing.
