There are certain reasons that I just love summer. Letting go and staying up a little later is one of them. Grabbing pizza and going to the park is another.
I sure love splash pads. I know Jackson has had a hard time getting used to them, but he loves them now. In the beginning, he'd only test the water, but by the second day, he was running around all of the fountains -- not necessarily running through them, but around them and still getting soaked.
At first he'd just stick his foot over on top of the ones that would just bubble up and reach his hand in the ones that sprayed high.
Then, Matt encouraged him to put his feet on top of one, and this was Jackson's first attempt. . .
With a little coaxing and instruction, he got it right!
And then there was this seagull. . .
He never could catch it.
Laughing SO hard! Andy will chase birds for HOURS on end, talking to them as he chases. My Mom has a puppy that does that too....
