He writes a note and draws a picture, of course! He can dictate the note if desired. But a picture of some kind is much appreciated by the tooth fairy.
It was at that point that my mom explained to me who the tooth fairy was (but I only lost my tooth--I didn't swallow it). Swallowing a tooth does not sound comfortable!
i say you should leave a quarter in the bottom of the toilet during one of hte following days and let him pick it out if he really wants it that bad ... or ... as my mom did, when we lost teeth, she would leave a note and there would be a pencil shading of hte imprint of the quarter.
That is so funny!! We had a lost lost tooth around then. Only it came out while brushing and went down the drain. Many tears were shed as it was the first lost tooth.
